CourtFlow privacy policy

The short version

CourtFlow is a basketball play designer for iPhone, iPad, and Android, published by NesFlow6. It has no servers, no user accounts, and no analytics. Everything you create is saved on your own device, and we never receive your plays, your notes, or anything else you make in the app.

The one way a play leaves your device is inside your own device backup, if you have backups turned on. That copy lives in your Apple or Google account, under your agreement with them — never in ours. The details are below.

What CourtFlow stores, and where

Everything CourtFlow saves is stored on your own device, inside the app's private storage:

• Your plays — names, diagrams, player positions, actions, and notes.
• App preferences — your chosen AI model and effort settings.
• Your subscription status — whether CourtFlow Pro is active, and when the current period ends.

None of this is transmitted to us. Deleting the app removes all of it from the device — though a backup you made earlier may still hold a copy, which is covered next.

Device backups

CourtFlow's storage is part of your device's ordinary backup, the same as any other app's. If you have backups turned on, your plays are included in them:

• iPhone and iPad — iCloud Backup, or an encrypted backup to a computer.
• Android — Google Auto Backup, and device-to-device transfer when you set up a new phone.

So two things are worth stating plainly: a play can leave your device this way, and a play can outlive deleting the app by sitting in a backup you already made. But that backup is yours — held in your own Apple or Google account, under your agreement with them, and controlled in your device's backup settings. It does not come to us. We have no servers to receive it and no way to read it.

Two things are deliberately kept out of backups:

• Your AI API key. On Android it is held in the Android Keystore, and the encrypted blob is excluded from both cloud backup and device-to-device transfer. On iPhone and iPad it is in the Keychain, marked so that it never leaves the device it was entered on. Either way, a restored backup will ask you for the key again.
• Thumbnails and cache files. These are derived data the app can rebuild, kept in the operating system's cache directory, and not backed up.

Exports you choose to create

When you export a play as a PDF or a video, the file is written on your device and handed to your device's share sheet — the iOS share sheet on iPhone and iPad, the Android share sheet or file picker on Android. Where it goes next — Files, Photos, a message, another app — is entirely your choice. CourtFlow does not upload exports anywhere.

The optional AI feature

CourtFlow Pro includes an experimental AI play generator. It is off unless you use it, and it requires you to supply your own API key from a provider you choose — either xAI (Grok) or Anthropic (Claude).

When you use this feature:

• The text you write — your coaching problem, situation notes, and chosen play set — is sent directly from your device to the provider you selected, using your API key and your account with that provider.
• The request does not pass through any NesFlow6 server. We do not see it, log it, or store it.
• How that provider handles your text is governed by their privacy policy and your agreement with them, not by this one.
• If you choose the Grok scout option, your text may drive a web search on the provider's side as part of generating the play.
• Your API key is stored on your device only, is excluded from device backups, and is sent only to that provider as the credential on your own requests. We never receive it.

If you never use the AI feature, CourtFlow makes no network requests of this kind at all.

Purchases

CourtFlow Pro is an auto-renewing annual subscription, sold through whichever app store you downloaded CourtFlow from — Apple's App Store on iPhone and iPad, Google Play on Android. The purchase, your payment details, and any offer code you redeem are handled entirely by that store. We receive no payment information. CourtFlow only reads from the store whether a subscription is currently active and when it expires, and stores that answer on your device.

What we do not do

• We do not collect analytics or usage statistics in the app.
• We do not use advertising, ad networks, or any tracking SDK.
• We do not track you across apps or websites, and CourtFlow shows no tracking prompt because there is nothing to track.
• We do not sell or share personal data, because we do not receive any.
• We do not knowingly collect information from children. CourtFlow collects no personal information from anyone.

Your choices

• Remove your API key at any time in the app's AI settings.
• Delete your plays individually in the app.
• Delete everything by deleting the app.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on iPhone and iPad, or in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions on Android. Canceling stops renewal; access continues until the current period ends.
