Not sure what you need? Here's what's possible.
Almost every business we talk to starts the same way — a sense that something could be easier, but no clear idea what to call it or where to start. These are representative examples of what we build — some drawn from real engagements, others illustrating common use cases.
Desktop Receipt & Expense Tool
Home Remodeling Company
The Problem
Every job produced a pile of paper and photo receipts from different vendors. Manually reading each one and entering it into a spreadsheet by category ate hours every week.
What We Built
A desktop app that runs right on their computer and points at a folder of receipt photos or PDFs — that folder can live on their hard drive, in a synced Dropbox or Google Drive, or in another cloud storage service. AI reads each receipt, extracts every line item, and sorts it into the correct expense category (materials, labor, permits, and more).
The Outcome
What used to take hours of manual data entry each week now takes minutes. Double-click and go — no software licenses, no subscriptions.
Matter Profitability Dashboard
Boutique Law Firm
The Problem
The firm could see total billings, but not which attorneys, clients, or matters were actually profitable once real cost-per-hour, pre-invoice write-downs, uncollectible write-offs, and unbilled work in progress were accounted for. A matter could look busy and still be quietly losing money.
What We Built
A desktop app that imports the firm's existing time, billing, and payment exports and turns them into a worked → billed → collected leakage waterfall, plus profitability broken out by attorney, by originating rainmaker, by client, and by matter. Every underlying assumption — cost-rate formula, overhead allocation, how contingency matters are treated — is shown on the page, not buried in a spreadsheet formula.
The Outcome
Partners can now see exactly where money leaks out matter by matter — including one contingency case sitting at a $20K+ paper loss in unbilled time — and make real decisions about pricing, staffing, and which clients are actually worth keeping.
Grant Discovery & Proposal Drafting Tool
Grant Writing Consultancy
The Problem
Every client meant hours spent manually searching state, federal, and private grant databases for opportunities that actually matched their industry and funding needs — and once a good match turned up, writing a tailored proposal from scratch to fit that grant's specific format and questions.
What We Built
A tool that continuously scans grant sources for new opportunities, automatically scores each one against a client's profile to filter out anything they don't qualify for, and drafts a first-pass proposal tailored to the exact questions and format each grant requires — ready for a human to review and refine before submission. For clients with sensitive financial or business data, we can also run the entire system on a private, local AI model at their site instead of a public AI service — nothing leaves their premises. More on that here.
The Outcome
Staff spend their time refining strong proposals instead of hunting for grants and starting from scratch — and clients stop missing opportunities that used to slip through the cracks.
Autonomous Ad Optimization Engine
E-Commerce Retailer
The Problem
Their small marketing team was manually digging through ad platform dashboards every week trying to figure out which campaigns were actually driving sales — and by the time they noticed a winner, it had usually already started to fade.
What We Built
A system that continuously analyzes ad performance across platforms and audiences, automatically shifts budget toward what's actually converting, and generates and deploys new ad variations to test against the winners — all without anyone building a campaign by hand.
The Outcome
Ad spend flows to what's working in near real-time, and the team spends its time reviewing results instead of manually building and babysitting every campaign.
AI Document Intake
Accounting Firm
The Problem
Every new client meant a folder of PDFs, scanned forms, and emailed spreadsheets that someone had to manually read through, sort, and file.
What We Built
A tool that automatically reads incoming documents, pulls out the relevant data — names, dates, figures — and routes each file to the right internal folder or staff member. No manual sorting.
The Outcome
Staff get their time back for actual client work instead of digital paperwork.
Repair Status Portal
Auto Repair Shop
The Problem
Customers called constantly asking "is my car ready yet?" — tying up the front desk all day and pulling technicians away from actual repairs.
What We Built
A simple web portal where customers check their repair status anytime, get automatic text updates as work progresses, and see an estimated pickup time — without ever picking up the phone.
The Outcome
Far fewer interruptions for the front desk, and customers feel informed without anyone having to call them.
Live Inventory Dashboard
Distribution & Wholesale Company
The Problem
Inventory lived in a tangle of spreadsheets that were always a day behind, leading to orders placed for stock that wasn't actually there.
What We Built
A real-time dashboard pulling from their existing systems, showing current stock levels, flagging low-stock items automatically, and giving the team one shared source of truth instead of five different spreadsheets.
The Outcome
Fewer stockouts, and far fewer "wait, do we actually have this?" conversations.
Field Service Job App
HVAC & Plumbing Contractor
The Problem
Technicians tracked jobs on paper work orders and texted photos to the office one at a time. Clock times were estimated after the fact, and nothing was consistent from tech to tech.
What We Built
A phone app for technicians that pulls up the right checklist for each job type, GPS-verifies clock in and out at the job site, and uploads photos and a customer signature the moment they're captured — all synced straight to the office in real time.
The Outcome
Consistent job documentation across every tech, accurate labor hours without anyone estimating, and a customer sign-off on file before the truck leaves the driveway.
Website with Online Booking
Family Dental Practice
The Problem
Their old site was a static brochure with a phone number. Every new patient had to call during office hours, and front-desk staff spent a big chunk of the day just scheduling and rescheduling over the phone.
What We Built
A new site built around getting visitors on the schedule — real appointment availability embedded right on the page, so a patient can pick a day, pick a time, and confirm without ever picking up the phone. Requests sync directly into the practice's existing scheduling system.
The Outcome
New patients book around the clock instead of only during office hours, and the front desk fields far fewer routine scheduling calls.
